I never liked Emily. I hated Nik and Emily together. BLAH. Why didn't they bother trying more with Nadine and Nik? Blah.

I dare you ..

to let Carly, Kate, and Connie have a backbone.
to have Carly's character be the strong woman that she is.
to have the women of show stand up against the violence.

for once.. to not let them be manipulated by Sonny. It is disgusting. It is a sick, poorly written cycle.

Women, real women, do not like the violence.
Gunshots, explosions, fights - if sprinkled throughout the year, sure - they could be exciting. To see them every week is draining.

You are wasting the talents of Laura Wright, Maurice Benard, Steve Burton and Ingo Rademacher. (I won't even go into the others for now, nor the topic of the Vets of the show.)

Laura Wright has such potential as Carly - fiery and strong. Yet, all she gets to do is get manipulated by Sonny over and over again and further ruin what could have been a powerhouse relationship with Jax.

Maurice Benard, is being forced into the corner. I don't understand how he can stand it. Sonny's in the mob - he's wants out - he wants back in - ooh "tough" mobster guy .. rinse and repeat. Sonny needs a drastic change. Have him actually go to prison for awhile. Get creative.

Steve Burton. You really missed opportunity with him. Just when there was hope maybe he'd be more inclined to remember his medical training and maybe he wants out of the biz to have a "normal" life.. he gets sucked back into the same corner you've written Sonny. Again, strong potential with his character. My god have him 'go good' - work with Anna! Restart the WSB! Get creative!

Ingo.. I don't know why he sticks around other than getting a steady paycheck. You, the writers, have horribly misused another great character. He can't catch a break can he? Just when you paired him up with the most unlikely (based on history) character, Carly, and you convinced the viewers (thanks to Laura and Ingo's acting and chemistry) -- you pull the same Sonny crap over again.

And yet, I watch.

If these were the only characters on the show, I'd never watch. But thanks to the other characters; Robin, Anna, Elisabeth, Spinelli, Maxie.. and the vets when they're allowed out of their cages, are on the show - I am happy. I know others share the same sentiment...

Get creative folks. You've been screwing with a show with an amazing history and fanbase. Don't you hear what people are saying? We love our show, we do, but it's dying a slow death.

End the violence. Honor the history. Get creative.

I'm completely sick of this twisted reversal crap Guza and Co. keeps trying to shove down our throats.

I am watching the episode where Sonny has just threatened Carly that he'd try to take full custody of Michael so he can send him to the 5-star facility. Then a bit later, Jason shows up to have his say as well.

This is typical of GH. Let's make the males who are in the WRONG (Mobsters/Killers/Manipulators/ETC) ethically, and have them basically attack a GRIEVING MOTHER.

Sonny and Jason, the (wannabe) mobsters who go around ordering/conducting hits on people, etc, etc.. the REASON why Michael was shot in the friggin' head in the first place.... are now attacking a grieving mother because maybe, just maybe, she's making a mistake on how her son should be cared for. They're saying, in a round about way, that she's being a horrible mother - doing something that could have horrible repercussions on her other child.

UM HELLO. Sonny, what YOU ARE DOING -- you know, all that stuff Michael would spout out to you before being shot in the head --- THAT maybe.. just maybe, might have horrible repercussions on your child(ren). Don'tcha think?

From what I hear around the web, this style of writing comes from the source, Guza and his posse of Q-killing-explosion-loving writers.

Alright so.. i'm watching today's episode and not paying too much attention. My bf walks by and hears something and says:

Did she just say "Dunkin' Donuts by the ear?"

I laugh! Yea right.. I rewind..

Nadine said:

WHAT. Who the hell wrote THAT?

So they're standing on the edge of the building.. leaning out over the side. Yes yes we get that they're the wild ones who laugh in the face of dancer. We get it.

That aside..

I liked those two acting with each other!

This was probably the FIRST TIME in the last what, 6 months, that I liked any scene whateverhisname (Johnny) has been in.

Anyway, nothing constructive to say here.

TMK moment - he's looking over photos of the characters that have been attacked - interesting they put Emily in there when I'm really convinced that it wasn't the TMK that killed her. I still think they should have it be Helena.

I finally got around to watching Friday's episode.

Sam sure did a number on the TMK didn't she. So whoever it is should be pretty bruised up eh?

Sam got hit by a car; either an emotional Carly, drunk Monica, or tired Elisabeth. It'll be Monica.

I gotta say, right up there with who-dunnit murder stories, amnesia arcs, baby daddy stories... are the "oh it was rainy so we both had to get our clothes dried.. oh oops.. someone came by and they think we were doing the naughty together but in fact we were saintly..." situations.

Seriously? Are these writers just out of school? And by school I mean, high-school.

Ok Kate in a robe I can understand, Jax - no. He's at his OWN HOUSE. He could have just changed into another set of clothing. Hell he could have given Kate some of Carly's clothes...

of course, this is normal behavior for humans outside of SoapWorld - I know. But it'd be nice if for once some realism seeped back into GH.

I used to tell people that GH was not like any other soap. It had REAL stories and REAL actors. They didn't typically do the crazy, stereotypical stories. Yes they have some doozies.. but it was done well.

Anyway..

oh and I guess to see Sarah Brown as Claudia - tho all I can see her as is Carly. Which is really weird right now.

LuluJohnnyLogan.. BORING. Actually I'd like to see Logan get a different story for awhile.. I mean what else does he do? WHERE does he get his money? The Army doesn't give you that much... c'mon give the guy a job. If my Sims characters can have jobs and have dramatic lives so can soap characters.
